Possibilities of IT in Nepal (summary of the interview)

In an interview with the Yug Sambad weekly. CEO and Chairman of Softwebs Nepal Mr. Ananda Raj Pandey stated the fact that the possibilities of Information technology were higher than the tourism industry in the present scenario of the country.

People and water are the main resources of the country and it's our ill fate that both of these are draining from the nation. However the foreign employment has been the main source of income for the nation but at the same time it has been creating a bad reputation about us as low level worker in the international market.

The only way to compete with the neighboring nations our nation has to boost itself in the Information industry. For this the government too has to play a key role in making the concrete rules and regulations and other aspects associated with the cyber law. With the help of this industry the nation can not be only benefited financially but other sectors such as peace management, crime control, traffic management, health, education and so on.
